Another Holocaust?!

By now we all know, that if the current trend continues, in a decade or two the majority of Jews living today in North America will chas vsholom be washed away by the tide of assimilation. In short, there is a Holocaust taking place here in our own backyards. But can we say we've exhausted all our resources to save our brothers and sisters that are falling away by the tens of thousands?

Our Goal

The problem is that there is a barrier which is built on the myth that secular Jews aren't interested in Yiddishkeit, and there is also the fear of rejection that always gets the better of us. That's where Oz Nidberu comes in, our goal is: A) To diffuse the myths and inspire every frum Jew - of any circle - to reach out to the Jews they know, showing them friendship and acceptance. B) Encourage them to take it to a second level, using the existing Kiruv resources: Books, CD's Tapes, Videos and Websites etc. as tools, as well as facilitating with spiritual and technical guidance, opening the door to a wide range of Kiruv methods and different kiruv Organizations, so that each one connects with the one that's right for him.

Three pronged plan: (Note: All guided and inspired by Gedolei Yisroel.)

1) Distributing to every home in all Orthodox communities in North America, free CD's, Tapes, pamphlets of lectures and messages that 'inspire' to reach out to our brethren, in ways easily do- able by everyone.

2) Web site that gathers as much information as possible on: a) Our Kiruv Obligation: Statistics. Articles. Calls fro m our gedolim in audio, video, and text. b) Kiruv Resources: Ideas for individuals and groups. 'Da ma Shetashiv' material in audio, video, text, and links. Courses for begginers. Specials on books, Kiruv media. Resources in other languages. c) Kiruv Organizations: A comprehensive updated list of kiruv organizations world wide, searchable by location, type etc. All links and organizations will be categorized and have detailed descriptions.

3) Information Hotline that has the following options: a) To speak to or leave a question for a volunteer know-it-all Kiruv professional. b) To listen to audio courses on 'Da ma shetashiv' or on 'Our Kiruv Obligation', for inspirational and technical guidance. c) Fax on demand for material on 'Da ma shetashiv' and 'Our Kiruv Obligation'
